In the last few months alone, we’ve seen earthquakes pound Indonesia, tropical storms batter the Philippines and heavy rains flood southern India.
Meanwhile, conflict, displacement and disease continue to threaten millions of children's lives every day.
A political and economic crisis in Venezuela has forced over one million people across the border into Colombia, in need of food, shelter and healthcare. Whilst children in the Democratic Republic of Congo are fighting deadly disease outbreaks, malnutrition and violent conflict.
Whether it be an underreported crisis or a large scale natural disaster, thanks to our Emergency Fund, we're on the ground providing immediate, lifesaving support. We're making sure families have enough food to eat, a safe place to sleep and access to the healthcare and sanitation facilties they need to keep healthy.
We're also helping children recover and build a brighter future by helping them get back to school. We're setting up safe spaces, where they can receive psychosocial support, play with friends and just be children again, in the chaos of an emergency.
